The College Draft Doesn't Make Much Sense for MLS

Submitted by Mario, Jan 29, 2008 20:54

Paul, what about the new US Soccer Academies. I believe there are or will be 62 spread throughout the US. In a couple of years the graduates of these Academies will also be available and will be 18 years old, much better positioned for a professional soccer career than the 22 year old college grads, rendering the college player less relevant.
