Judge 'Thinking Very Hard' About Lynne Stewart Case

Submitted by James, Jan 30, 2008 10:22

What this woman did was inexcusable and should be punished with the maximum severity. Right after a leftist judge gave her nothing more than a slap on the wrist in an obvious display of ideological solidarity, left wing websites and groups were full of praise for Lynne, her radical views and what she did. It was the first time I saw with my own eyes that leftists really *are* on the side of terrorists.

The irony is that the leftist judge who excused her probably thought "aw, she's not a threat, she's a socially aware white woman!" - in other words, was the lightness of the sentence influenced by the fact that she isn't a dark skinned person of Muslim appearance? Was this super-leftist judge influenced unduly by race in a way that they'd never admit? I would not be surprised. If Lynne Stewart was a dark skinned Muslim who aided terrorists, she would have had the book thrown at her.
