Here's three reasons McCain can't win the general election:
1. Roughly 70% of Americans want the United States out of Iraq (roughly the same percentage of Iraqis that want us out, btw). Our disastrous war of choice is costing our country billions upon billions of dollars, and ruining our international reputation, but McCain intends to keep us there, apparently forever.
2. He's too old. Worse yet, he looks it. Having endured torture and survived skin cancer, McCain walks with a cripple's gait. Think Bob Dole, and imagine how McCain is going to look in a debate against either of the far more youthful and energetic Democratics.
3. He's a hot head. At some point during the election, McCain's going to lose his temper and reveal his side that most of his Senate colleagues can't stand. Once America catches sight of that, he's cooked.
Cheers!
