Father of History

Dear Mr. Boyle: Late this morning (1/31/08) I tuned into npr (90.5 FM) to listen to an interview with Mr. Strassler. I've always loved and enjoyed the study of all History, and recall my high school subject (History 101, then referred to as History of the Ancient World. Today I was especially impressed with Strassler's take, and find you may have also been tken in by the throughness of this author's work. So much was I impressed that I'm inclined to search out the text, to in a way, to read along with you. Thank you for your effort in your critique, that further spured me to read on. While you won't soon see in any of your classes, at 71 years young, I will certainly be watching for, and hope to enjoy other of your reviews on history texts in this medium in the near future.
