Unexpected Obstacle in Plan for Brooklyn School

Submitted by E. Castillo, Feb 1, 2008 12:15

Seems to me that there is much more going on under the surface. Why are the white parents who took their children out of P.S. 84 prepared to return if a "new" theme school is established in the same building? Why can't the theme school concept be incorporated into the existing school program? Does it have anything to do with the white parents not having to/or wanting to interact with the largely hispanic parents and their children? DOE should fish this out!
