The Super Bowl & Arizona Politics

Attendance the first year wasn't perfect, but it wasn't the bomb he claimed. The avg attendance was bigger than St. Louis capacity at Busch Stadium even if only 1 game sold out. Part of the problem was Bidwill made ticket prices 2nd highest in the NFL before a down was even played. But I remember going to my first NFL Cardinals game that year against your NY football Giants (which we won to get to 1st place in the NFC East) and the joint was jumpin w/ 64000 people there. Unfortunately they lost 5 in a row after that win and that when things started to go downhill; it took the franchise decades to recover as a result.
