Suicide Bomber Strikes Israel, One Dead

Submitted by Scott Baker, Feb 4, 2008 09:48

This attack is just another example of why the rush to give the Palestinians a State - or, indeed, any further legitimacy, is misguided. The fact is, no one wants the Palestinians around - not Israel obviously, but also not Egypt, as was recently demontrated by them shooing the Palestinians back into their self-created prison-land, not Jordan, which would like the camps to just go away, and certainly not any of the other Arab countries, which rejected plan after plan that would have meant Palestinian dispersal into their lands. The call for a Palestinian homelande is a disingenuous ploy to give them a base to drive Israel into the sea too, as it always has been. A State in that region that was hostile to Israel would never be viable, in simply practical terms anyway, and its well past time the rest of the world recognize that fact and see the Palestinians' true motivations for asking for one.
