I would love to see my adoption records and maybe meet my birth mom who would be 84 now if still alive. I would not want any relationship with my birth family. I am just concerned that our insurance industry would use these birth records/medical records against us to deny claims or insurance if for medical or life insurance due to family medical histories. Yes, I agree adoptee's should have rights, but only if we are protected from the evil insurance industry which could use the records against us or our children.
