Iam from this end of the planet and i could sensed the trauma of the holocaust. I supported demand by the 500 survivors (approx) to increase the stipend rate to a rate affordable. The government of Isreal should at least considered the demand by the survivors. The $20.00 per month rate was inadequate and dosent carter to sustain living in such places like in Jerusalem where drug and others are too costly. I applaud Prime Minister Olmert assurance to further consider the issue and in particular its review. I hope the issue will be dealt with at the fairest level.
