I'm sorry, but is it me, or is this administration incapable of communicating a coherent message to the people of this nation? Has the Spy Chief and the Admin been living in a cave and misread their poll numbers to think that they are actually popular and that the MSM would properly interpret the NIE about Iran's nuke program? Sure, a nuke physicist would understand that Iran in fact had not stopped the most difficult part of a nuke program (processing) and only (with moderate confidence) not restarted the actual warhead manufacturing, but did they feel they didn't need to clarify this point to the American people before the horse was let out of the barn? Why is it that pundits and talk radio hosts knew the NIE was not correctly communicated to the american people through the prism of the MSM? I'm sorry, but if Bush & Co can't articulate their position to the american people and explain to them what the NIE actually meant the day of its release, then they deserve the crappy poll numbers they get.
