Considering the heinous practices involved in the production of the product in the news lately, it's mind-boggling that anyone would actually promote and sell the product.
As a seasoned registered nurse for over 27 years, I have had the opportunity to insert many a feeding tube. I can assure you that even under the best of circumstances, with the practitioner using the utmost gentleness and lubrication, it causes much discomfort to the patient (and that is a human patient, to whom you can explain the necessity of the procedure).
Imagine a frightened bird having a pipe violently shoved down it's esophagus and being forcibly overfed to the point where its liver enlarges 10 times... and all for an unnecessary product which is unhealthy for human consumption in the first place.
