I'm recently retired and started through my old 40's and 50's records. converting most to my computer. At only 11,000 songs at this stage and having read or re-read the jackets I about to start that long jouney down the history of jazz. thanks for your article, I've tried several times to find the listing of the record companies by number. ie. Columbia number"CL 1121", I haven't found it yet. any suggestion where to look. Thanks Bob Taylor, Portland Or
