Parents Ask for School Cell Phone Ban To Be Lifted

Submitted by J. Paige, Feb 7, 2008 12:12

Your kid does not need a cell phone. If you need to get in touch with them, do like folks did "back in the day" and call the school. They will promptly get your child out of class or pass a message along. And why are you calling your kid while they are IN CLASS??? They need to be learning. Fine, lift the ban, but if a kid is caught using a phone or if it goes off in class, the school should be able to confiscate it until a PARENT comes to pick it up. You're so adhament about your kid having one, be just as furious with your child when they're yapping away and sending texts during classtime.
