How ironic to celebrate the holiday of love by doing the complete opposite. Where's the love and compassion for these poor ducks- they haven't received an ounce of it. Instead, they live in tiny, filthy cages and are force-fed with a metal pipe shoved down their throat so that their liver grows to 10x their normal size. By the end, these terrified, sick animals can barely stand or breathe. So let's have a reality check here, when you're eating foie gras you're eating the diseased remains of a sick bird who's been tortured, not a "magnificent delicacy."
