As a white, ex-New Yorker, I enjoy the conversations in listening to a conservative talkshow host, Chris Plante, and for the first time in years, I hear wonderful conversations between Black and White people.
Sometimes, disagreements between both white and white and black and black, but civil discourse and it is absolutely wonderful. What a difference.
Wed. morning, I turned on c-span to see who the guests were and heard a man declare himself Black and thank his White brothers for voting for Obama. He also said that we should ignore the haters and we can all really get along.
Unfortunately, I wish we, in the conservative party, had one conservative like Obama to vote for since I do not agree with his policies, but, if he brings that man out from under the hate that Sharpton and his ilk perpetuate, I thank Obama for that and sorry, but I cannot vote for him.
