CUNY's Black Male Initiative Is Probed

Submitted by byhylyan, Feb 7, 2008 21:25

This is not the agenda that he needs to be focusing on. Lets focus on the many negative things that are against the black male. For example, "Has he had the opportunity to visit the TRANSIT ADJUDICATION CENTER" located in downtown Brooklyn. The number of black males that receive frivolous violations riding the rails of the MTA - is totally rediculous, not only discriminating. They are discriminated by the transit police for violations such as walking through the cars of a stationary train that is parked in the station at the first stop. And then when you go down to plead your case, you are surrounded by all black males like yourself who have received similar violations. In addition, to the fact that the hearing officers are all white and have been instructed to only listen to your plea by to definitely find you guilty no matter how ridiculous it may seem in the end. They are making money on the backs of our young black brothers.

So here is a program that is positive for the black male, that is intent on assisting the black male to be a productive member in society, to place his feet on solid ground with an education. That we all know is the key to success, and he is h-ll bent on destroying. What is wrong with this??

If you have nothing to do --- Look for the negatives and try and figure out what can be done to make them positive. Not look for the postive and look to make them negative. That is definitey counterproductive.
