Lesson of the Bagel Man

I couldn't agree more with Wolf. This mayor just doesn't get it. There is a "green bodega" near me in the Bronx but the prices there are steep so I shop for my greens at various supermarkets. The customers in the Upper East Side can better afford the prices of fruits and veggies at their bodegas and stands because their income is greater. In the Bronx the only produce in some bodegas that is affordable or available includes onions, potatoes, plantains and yucca. I wish the mayor would try to encourage/foster/promote open air markets or co-ops in these areas. That would would make more sense.
