I agree with the other comments. The Church of Scientology is not just a cult that claims to be a religion. They also are a printing company (print their own materials) and have several other intra-church businesses going on. People pay thousands for courses while thousands of others work/basically volunteer for the churches Sea Org department, in exchange for room and board, courses and small pay.
It is not just the "Church" that should be taxed. They (the IRS) should also be taxing all of these other productions and transactions. What is next... is the church going to start building non-taxable religious malls and grocery stores? Furthermore, the IRS (which WE pay for) should NOT be allowed to make PRIVATE deals with the PRIVATE Sector. Rediculous.
