The editorial states that Senator Obama has pledged a payroll tax increase which is not true. He said he was open to increasing the income limit on payroll taxes so individuals making over $96,500 per year would continue to pay social security tax on their earnings above that limit. I believe this is a tax position that most Americans would favor and even if they didn't, you should be more careful to state the truth, even in an editorial.
