Pitched Fight Looms Over Delegates

Submitted by Randy Butler, Feb 11, 2008 12:27

In many opinions, the candidate who arrives at the convention with the most pledged delegates, whatever the tally, should be the nominee. It is clear neither will crack the 2000 plus mark without super delegate aid. "The voters will have spoken." If there happens to be a tie in pledged delegates then the tie braker should be by popular vote and states won. In fairness, if Michigan and Florida want to have their delegates reinstated they should caucus as requested by the DNC. Rewarding those delegates without the candidates having a chance to campaign equally in those states would be an injustice. Randy B, in Texas.
