Win Is Possible for Third Party, Schoen Says

Submitted by Bobby Glasscock, Feb 12, 2008 08:24

If nominating, even electing, a candidate with a Muslim name (even as Jihad has been declared against our nation and its interests) is possible, why shouldn't it also be possible to elect an independent? If an endorsement from a media magnate is meaningful, then is it not at least equally meaningful for a candidate to expand his constituency without the need of leveraging a supporter's pop-culture familiarity?

Mr. Bloomberg, please throw your hat in the ring! We desperately need a decent, kind, and practical candidate who is actually worthy of our votes--someone even Blacks can support (in harmony with Dr. King's Dream) based upon the content of his character as opposed to the color of his skin.
