If Governor-elect Spitzer was REALLY serious about "Day One: Everything Changes" , he would appoint Andrew Eristoff, the highly capable attorney who recently resigned as Chairman of the NYS Finance Department (and who previously held the same position with the City.)
Naming someone from a different party would be the single best way of proving that there really is a watchdog looking out for the taxpayers; and, that Spitzer has maintained his promise that "Everything Changes".
Everything else is just sloganeering.
