Clearly, as we follow London's lead (as proponents have repeatedly touted), New York, too, will soon have the $50 per day tax. This amounts to $12,500 per year. Can anyone any longer doubt that this is a plan to privatize public roads as express routes for the wealthy? Britain has an aristocracy--do we really want to follow suit? Isn't that what the Revolution was about?
