New Database Will Track Guns Used in Crimes

Submitted by Charles P, Feb 15, 2008 00:20

It is just common sense. If databases and serial numbers were able to stop crimes, then WHY HASN'T IT STOPPED THE HUGE NUMBERS OF AUTOMOBILE RELATED CRIMES?? Local governments have had access to this data for 50+ years, and it is RARELY USED. The police do not want to take the time or effort to go after these criminals. Just look at the HUGE number of flood vehicles that were decalared "totalled" and still ended up on the market, after huricane Katrina. Police ALWAYS say that they have to spend their time ON CURRENTLY OCCURRING CRIMES, and DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR CRIMES ALREADY COMMITTED! Bloomberg, and all of his CORRUPT mayors coalition are out for one thing. TO HELP THE CRIMINALS, WHILE HARMING THE HONEST AMERICAN CITIZEN!
