Faith: To Have or Have Not

Submitted by Buzz Daly, Feb 15, 2008 06:04

What's truly amazing, is that any thinking individual , gives any credence whatsoever to folks who choose to believe in "godfigures" of any kind. That this is the topic of serious discussion makes one wonder about the gullibillity of humans. There is no evidence any "godfigure" existed, exists, or will exist. "Godfigures" are products of one's mind, and, exist only in the minds of those who choose to believe in them. Does it not concern folks that arguments over whose "imaginary friend" is superior just might be signs of mental instability? Isn't it about time that mankind quit playing make believe? Doesn't seem likely. All religion is a drag on humanity. Please proceed with this fantasy discussion. It would be amusing, except folks take it seriously, and actually believe "godfigures" are real. Take it away , Mr. Archbishop.
