I agree that this plan will have zero effect, but I find it fascinating that Bloomberg - the poster child for eminent domain abuse, master of the 20 year 40% tax abatement for private luxury construction, king of outrageous public subsidies to private real estate projects, staunch defender of corporate tax loopholes and monopolies, and an all around corporate apologist - chooses to stump on the wasteful and misguided use of public money under he banner of economic stimulation.
