Saviors of the Times

Because character is what troubles the New York Times. One cannot constantly attack free market principles while seeking its own profits, and pretend they are on an altruistic mission for the good of all.

In truth, the NYT & many other old establishment mainstream media organizations, have lost their way. They have subscribed to a single political philosophy and they have at times viciously & speciously assailed any who do not bow down to that philosophy. The NYT & others seem to think it is they alone who make decisions and it is they alone who know what good taste it, and it is they alone who can talk about principles and morals as though they alone are the deity all should believe.

The NYT has permitted actual falsehood's to be printed & promoted as truth, despite the lack of credible evidence to support such assertions. Worse, is they have then failed to accept responsibility for such errors & have refused to print retractions on a number of issues. Ignoring will not make these terrible assertions, even nasty accusations against innocents go away.

In truth, the nation may be better served if this organization were to close its doors & take away the biased bully pulpit used by many to attack any who disagree with them. One day, those whom the NYT holds in contempt may be called upon to save the NYT & its cohorts from the oppressions of the very tyrant's for whom the NYT & others now make excuses.
