Your summation of the past few decades of Epicopal self-inficted decline is sad but needed. Having been actively participating in the church ever since (Episcopal) prep school, I recall all of these goofy impetuous steps with embarassment. I was suprised only by your passing mention of Paul Moore's pathetic reign. Other than C&E, I haven't darkened our church doors in 14 months...and neither have my checks. Sad.
