I don't think there is any doubt that snus is way better than smoking when it comes to incidence of lung cancer. But I wouldn't be so sure that you are out of the woods when it comes to other issues. Snus and pancreatic cancer have a proven tie. Certainly for those around you, you have freed them from second hand smoke and that is a good thing. But to think that it is a "harmless" product is not realistic. I think we need nicotine replacement therapies (NRT's) for smokers that actually work (not the FDA regulated low nicotine containing products that we have OTC now). But I don't see why tobacco has to be the delivery system for this. There are nicotine gels, nasal sprays, inhalers, and more. Take tobacco out of the equation and I will be a supporter of NRT. Harm reduction should not introduce any new harms in the process. Snus does not fit into that definition.
