I grew up in the Methodist Church when it was very Bible based in its teachings, in fact, I gave my heart to Jesus in the Methodist Church. Over the years it has changed, supporting abortion (the UMWomen), ordaining gay pastors, has a gay bishop, not sure if Jesus is really God, does not take the Bible as the literal word of God, and many other liberal views. After enduring this transition for 60 years while trying to be a light of Jesus Christ in a dark place, my husband and myself left to find a church that believed the Bible is THE WORD of GOD. We no longer struggle in a church that treated us as an outcast, evangelical, "nutcases" and are now growing once more with Biblical teachings.

So, what I am saying is ,"I am not surprised that the Methodist Church has come against Israel and in supporting Palestine". The church has to agree with the Biblical teaching about Israel, Jews, God's chosen people and the promised land.
