For all the whining and complaining about our political system, we should keep in mind some important things. 1. We live in a country where we have the freedom to complain about our leaders (unlike many countries around the world. 2. Our political system is still amazingly transparent, fair, and non-corrupt compared to just about any other government in the world. 3. No matter which candidate wins the Presidential election, the outcome will be 1000 times better than if we didn't have elections and we had to have a revolution instead. 4. Our economy is also amazingly strong--in view of the many material possessions we take for granted that are rare luxuries elsewhere in the world. The definition of a recession is two quarters with something like "less than 2% economic growth," Our unemployment rate is surprisingly low, and despite all the whining, for the most part, life is good in the USA.

If you don't believe me, try living somewhere else. You'll be surprised.
