McCain Facing Big Clash Over Campaign Cash
in response to reader comment: Democrats are worried

Electing McCain would be the worst mistake that we could make as a country. If McCain is not competent enough to run a financiallyk solvent compaign, how could he possibly hope to run a country? I'm no Obama fan, but McCain is easily the worst candidate left in the race. Obama could outraise McCain in total election contributions in one month's time, and none of that money would come from political action committees. The crux of the issue is McCain's hypocrisy and breach of ethics time and time again. From the Savings and Loan scandal that he was deeply involved in, to his close ties with lobbyists, and now this ethical conundrum that he has created by using the promise of federal funds to get ballot access and secure a loan. McCain helped create these stifling election rules that unconstitutionally restrict freedom of speech and it's only proper that they come back to haunt him. McCain will be the Republican's punishment for rallying behind such a sketchy politician. Dr. Paul, on the other hand, has never accepted public tax dollars and walloped McCain in fund raising. It's a shame that Dr. Paul only got around 10% of the Republican vote...
