Let's see how that plays out over the past fifty years:

Dems -

Johnson (Viet Nam escalation), Carter (Iran, willing to give up our military advantages against Warsaw Pact, general imbicility), Clinton (sits by as terrorists get more & more brazen, Bosnia - still there 12 years later..., Twin Towers bombing, embassy attacks, attacks on US Navy vessels, refusing to accept bin Ladin on a platter from 2 governments)

Repubs -

Nixon (Viet Nam end, open relations with China), Ford (OK ya got me...Mayaguez fiasco), Reagan (ended cold war, vanquished Soviet Union, Cuba expansion in Caribbean halted, etc.), Bush I (Gulf War I), Bush II (Gulf War 2, Global War on terror - Iraq, Afghanistan)

For my money, I'll take "prepared or unprepared" Republicans over "prepared or unprepared" Dems any day of the week.

And can ANYBODY tell exactly what makes Hillary so prepared to be CIC? Good Lord! Just cuz she says it doesn't make it true!
