Too many of the so-called conservative thinkers seem most critical of the lowly sap who over extended credit and now is in peril of total financial collapse. Well, Mr. Thomas, be a real prophet and speak against the institutions who threw caution to the wind and underwriting standards to the trash to extend that credit. Why not keep going, and rail against the investors who kept buying mortgage backed securities when their risk analysts should have advised caution.

Mr. Thomas, be a real hero. Don't wait until the eviction notices are being served. Do it when one mass media ad after another encouraged loans for "less than perfect credit." When everyone is encouraging mortgage secured financing, champion Suzie Orman's advice to save and invest or Robert Kiosaki's "Rich Dad" philosophy.

Mr. Thomas, you may believe that the family who overextended their credit, or the European bank investors who bought shaky US mortgage backed securities were the dumbest people on earth. However, by waiting until your analysis is brutally irrelevant to their situation, they no longer hold that distinction. You do!
