Silence Over Sderot

Submitted by Bill Dienstag, Feb 27, 2008 06:28

The reason the Zionist movement, and modern Israel came into existence is exactly because Europe (and others) was unfair to the Jews. A State where Jews would be first class citizens, a state with its own military and courts could defend Jewish rights without first getting permision from non Jews. Now we see more and more that Israel will not act in its own interest without first obtaining European and American approval. Is Israel a state or a ghetto? The world's unfair attitude towords Israel is not news. If nothing is being done to protect Israelis from a daily shower of missles, than no one is to blame but the Israeli government.
