Gun Control Isn't Crime Control

It's refreshing to see in print an Editorial that acknowledges that " Gun Control " is a pipe dream that hasn't ever worked, nor will it. Liberal Politicans can't wait to size handguns that are used for sport and self-defense, there by leaving indivduals helpless in the face of ARMED criminals. It should be noted that most of these schooling shooting occur in " Gun Free Zones" mandated by Congress, and all that does is ensure that the shooter is free to do what he wishes, without any oppostiion. I don't addvocate "Arming people to the teeth" , but it is an undeniable fact that the 41 states that permit citizens to carry concealed weapons after passing background checks and training, have cut the crime rate wherever it has been tried.
