This is so naïve. We don't have some mutual misunderstanding with North Korea that can be cleared up with the wonders of music (and music is wonderful). No, North Korea is ruled by a totalitarian tyranny. These tyrants are dangerous and evil people, perfectly content to starve their subjects (literally) for the sake of personal privilege—e.g. a concert by the NY Phil—and their weird, Stalinist ideology.

The New York Philharmonic is allowing itself to be used as a propaganda tool to help perpetrate their evil rule. Shame!
