Our daughter is moving to New York. We hope she can get accomodation in the Jeanne D'Arc Residence. As we are left things a little late - due to lack of funds - and now we are worried about her not being able to find anywhere to stay that will fit her slim budget. When I called the residence it was suggested that I email the administrator. I just hope we make it past the sister who vets everybody. It sounds like a wonderful , peaceful and safe place for a young woman who is new to New York. I read the article with interest and it prompted me to make enquiries. The only concern we have is the waiting list!!! I think living in a nunnery would be an experience and for what they offer, the price is amazing too.
