Giving Families The Choice

Yes- even conservative legislators get-it- even if your interest is dollars and cents ,not only the well being of our childre, investing in Pre-K makes sense. That is the informed impetus behnd this growing investment. Many states in their implementation ensure that Pre-K programs are delivered in a diverse array of community based settings. It is a cowardly and dangerous view to take a hands off approach to investing in children. Parents can still choose- lets make sure that we invest in quality, full day pre-K opportunities to give parents the opportunity to choose quality options. If not millions of children will be left behind and we will sure pay for it in the future through school failure, public assistance and public health costs.
