Ok, I live 2 blocks away from Queens Plaza, by the bridge, everyone is drives thru my neighborhood and parking is already bad enough without a million commuters parking one stop outside manhattan. Then where will all of these toll booths go? There will be lines dozens of blocks long of people trying to pay $8. Besides this will cost more money than it will collect.
Where do they got those statistics anyway? nobody asked me!
I need to drive downtown for work sometimes, and I don't have an extra eight bucks to give mike bloomberg, he's got too much money already!

Metrocard prices went up today, with no sign of improving public transportation or anything like that.
