Jefferies & Co. Surprises by Touting Taser Stock

Submitted by Jim Petersen, Mar 3, 2008 13:47

I've been a die-hard investor of Taser stock for about 4 years now and have bought on the dips and sold on the peaks. I can't say that I've always been happy with the market prices of Taser as it seems that the stock is frequently manipulated by the hedge funds or short interest buyers.

I think that the stock has GREAT POSSIBILITIES going forward and still own a considerable amount of shares, but often wonder to myself, with the company being run by very young and innovative individuals; I refer primarily to Tom and Rick Smith; why do they not offer to pay a dividend?

I may be wrong; but I think most modern thinking corporations are following suit in making the purchase of retention of their stock more desirable to the public by offering to make the stock an income producer.

I think that in this day and age of our population becoming much more heavily in the SENIOR's age sector, where income producing stocks are favored, this kind of idea would bode well for Taser.

If anyone has any knowledge of this being in the works, or any idea why it would not be feasible, I'd certainly appreciate a response.

Thanks.

Jim Petersen
