Gaza Turmoil: One More Victory for Iran

I agree partly with this author, only partically. Isael's incurion into the Gaza Strip, and subsequent destruction of Hamas infrastructure, was done with minima Israel casualties, unlike Lebanon. This must have sent a message to these Hamas thugs, not to be too confident in their fighting ability (even though an organized mass rally in the Northern Gaza Strip claimed otherwise-take with grain of salt). From now on, Israel will hit Hamas hard, whenever and wherever the moment warrants. Once Israel can marginalize Hamas, it can concentrate on it's northern foe, Hezbollah, which, surprisingly stayed out of this fray.

Iran obviously upset at Israel's incursion and tactics in the Strip, condemned the Jewish state with it's typical obsurdity, linking the Holocaust to Israel's actions. But it didn't send rockets. I mean, Iran illegally captured those Brits in International waters...forcing Britain to acquiesce..it had chutspah then, but apparently isn't ready to take on the IDF..not until it has parity with the Jewish state (nukes) which it denies pursuing.

With the 3rd approved sanctions by the UNSC, Israel's victory over Hamas, the non-involvement by Iran and Syria, and Israel's better preparations for any new war, with the possibility of a security minded President elected in the near future, I have hopes that the M.E., will quiet.
