While I appreciate that the article has now been corrected, I am concerned with the bias inherent in deeming this Bronx school (and Marble Hill is particularly complicated--in the Bronx for some things, Manhattan for others) to be in the "South Bronx" because it is mostly minority, and then to suggest that those students going to college is some kind of miracle.

Marble Hill is not in the South Bronx. Check out the map, it is in the North West Bronx. Techically,... [MORE]
