Judges Revolt Over Death Penalty

It should be pointed out that the defendant in the Judge Block case mentioned in your article was convicted and given the death penalty. Further, it should also be pointed out that Judge Dearie was the US Attorney for the Eastern District, which is the head prosecutor, and thus an interesting point that the former head prosecutor feels the punishment sought was inappropriate.
