Rockets Haven't Been Slowed by Yao Injury

Apparently they don't actually watch the games before offering their "expertise". Stephen A. Smith said, the Nuggets have more talent than the Rockets so they'll beat out the Rox and Houston would be lottery bound just because of that.

It makes me wonder how much they know about basketball basics. It is a team sport. How much talent a team has doesn't go on the W-L columns (well, maybe the L column). The Rockets have superior team chemistry and have been playing awesome team ball game after game since that bad loss to Philly in January, yet all those sports analysts (minus Mr. Hollinger of course) just wrote the Rockets off the playoff picture because: 1. we lost Yao; 2. it was mostly weak teams during the win streak. I mean, cmon, the Hornets lost to the Wizzards TWICE in one week, but the Yao-less Rockets pretty much blew them out of the game in the first 5 minutes and never game them any hope of coming back, yet the Hornets have Chris Paul and are still considered the NBA darling team.

This is the first ever article on the national level to recognize this Houston squad's achievements so I'm impressed. To go 15 straight and some, or play great Defense isn't something a team can pull off if they simply "decide" to do it (Denver thought they could play good D if they wanted to prior to the game vs Rockets). It takes something special; and this Rockets team has it (at least for now).
