The McCain Dollar

Submitted by Dennis Yanez, Mar 5, 2008 12:50

I am a long time forex trading going back to the days when currency futures were first introduced to the world by the IMM division of the CME. With the advent of internet trading I have since conventrate on spot forex trading since 2000.

The behavior of currency markets to is a reflection of speculators being given a free pass to sell USD regardless of fundamental reasons or facts.

So long as the Fed and implicitly Treasury stand by, almost blindly it seems, USD will continue to heavily sold.

The ulltimate absurdity of the situation is that while the Fed and Treasury employ this policy of benign (or is it malignant) neglect of the dollar, they - everyone from the President to Paulson to Bernanke publicly state they support a strong dollar policy.

Hypocrisy or flat out lies?
