Airlines Challenge N.Y. on Passenger Treatment

Submitted by George Walsh, Mar 5, 2008 15:33

Its about time this law or some version of it went into effect. Several friends and family have flown over the last several months and all of them, all of them, have returned with horror stories of lost luggage, long delays, missed connections, and surly company personnel. One family is out several hundred dollars after delta airlines refused to cover a missed connection; forcing them to payout of pocket for alternate transportation.

Welcome to what the US flagged carriers call customer service. The fact that these clowns are in court arguing that having to provide plain old water and a working toilet are onerous tells you everything you need to know..
