Hey, lay off the conservative economic dogma will ya? Being in a ice storm here in Vermont, I can attest to the cabin fever that JHK seems to exhibit in his paintings and his writings. According to Wikipedia he got Y2K wrong but just looking at our mess of technologically induced noise, sight and smell pollutions all coming at us at the same time, I think I gotta read this book not for the predestination but for the creativity and possible solutions to the already dispiriting vibes around us. Just getting us off the consumer bandwagon and renting a modest house (I think he does) instead of buying stuff while investing in and creating healthy alternatives is what I think he's all about. (Google him and find that nifty webpage of his btw.)
