If you really thing peak oil is a half baked farce, or anything even close to that, then here is something to consider: Go to google and type in: ELM iron triangle The very first result is an article posted on July 10, 2007 Notice the timing. When did the market begin its first big nosedive in recent years? A week later... Even if you refuse to do the research, rest assured those with big big money know what's going on. Sooner or later, peak oil is going to financially devour everyone who refuses to accept it. Because you cant read the market correctly without respecting the "Peak Oil Ragnarok". Peak oil is such a generic term anyway. What is going to kill us is peak exports, and the accelerated decline of oil exports as shown by the export-land model. Furthermore, ask yourself why is China building polysilicon plants that are 20 square miles in size? That is almost visible from orbit! All for solar power? Why are they doing it? Because they know that as long as a solar panel produces more energy over its lifetime than it takes to produce it, it is a good idea. Much better than wasting it on pushing around a big SUV and feeling good because you're voting for CFR-Obama or CFR-Hillary or CFR-McCain.
