Airlines Challenge N.Y. on Passenger Treatment

Submitted by Carol McCreary, Mar 6, 2008 20:55

I LOVE New York. The state as well as its largest city belong to the world. As a frequent air traveller to airports throughout the state I applaud a law which affirms the basic rights of passengers. Nothing is more basic to serving customers than toilets. Toilets serve everyone, including a large but partly invisible population of the "restroom challenged". These are people with an array of medical conditions as well as normal conditions such as pregnancy, youth and age. These people cannot hold it for more than an hour under any circumstances and they make up a significant portion of the population. Let's hope this basic law holds and will be copied throughout the US.
